Nicknames.....

I was reminiscing over all the nicknames I have called my kids over the years and thought I would share a few..........

Rykers nicknames- Rykee roo, Rykes, Bubbas, Boo, Mister moo moo, and his latest nickname bugga. He always tells me "mom i'm your bugga"
Violets nicknames so far- Vy vy, miss violet, sissa, sissa cat moo moo, miss moo moo, and Gary always calls her moose.
Isn't it funny the nicknames we come up with?
I remember my Dad telling me he called me pee-pod and called my sister pooken-heimer when we were little. It must run in the family all of these nicknames.
I write them here because I want to remember them in case I ever lose memory of it. I had a hard time remembering all of Rykers (sad huh?) and I am sure he is missing more than a few
of the cute little pet names we used to call him.

Inspired

Today I read this book called Embraced by the Light by Betty Jean Eadie. My mom encouraged me to do so and lent me her book. It was a quick read and only took me a few hours to read. But man was it Amazing. I just love the message she shares. So for any of you readers out there looking for a good book this just happens to be a true story about a lady who had a near death experience. Give it a try.
ps. I am normally not a girl that tends to read this kind of stuff. I stick to my Harry Potter and Twilight series, but I must say I was very glad that I read this particular book.

The Crush.

Ryker has the hots for Daphne off of scooby doo! There hasn't been a day that's gone by where he hasn't talked about her. He always tells me "I love that girl in purple" or "she's my favorite". Gary said it all started when they watched a beach episode of scooby doo and Daphne along with the rest of the gang were in their swimwear. He's like dad I love that girl in the purple swimsuit. Gary was teasing him and said "you mean the one in the orange swimsuit with the glasses" (velma). I guess Ryker got pretty angry with Gary after that. Hee hee hee! Hey at least he has good taste right?

New Years Eve

We had a pretty good 2010. My aunt Jill invited us over to a New Years party at her house. We played games, had yummy food, and watched the ball drop. I got my new year kiss from Gary. The kids fell asleep before midnight so Ryker did poppers the next day with his friend bridger.
