My 6 year old!

Ryker turned 6! He has been so excited to be a six year old. He looked at himself in the mirror when he woke up on the morning of his birthday and he was like "yeah I grew!" He wants to be a big kid soo bad and I never want to let him go. I want to keep him little forever so he can fit into my arms and I can hold him. I want to call him my bugga and tickle and snuggle him. Sadly I know this little man is inevitabely going to grow up. I keep thinking he is like a ticking clock. How much more time do I have when he wants me to hold him or lay with him in his bed and tell him stories? My son is becoming what he wants to be a BIG kid and I just hope with all my heart that I am taking advantage of the time while he is still LITTLE and where he wants me to still hug him and hold him. On the day of Ryker's birthday we got to go and see kung fu panda 2! Grandma Jen, Summer, Sara, and cousin Kalli came. The movie was awesome! It might be even better than the first one. I made dinner and some chocolate cake for the birthday boy and we serenaded him with his birthday song.
We had a friend party too. We had 12 boys at our house!!! It was crazy but I think everyone had fun. We had a kung fu panda theme. We played pass the panda, freeze dance, find the dragon scroll, and we had a pinata. Everyone left with lots of candy and treats!

I made some panda cupcakes! They turned out pretty cute! We also had purple cows! Poppa Bill introduced us to grape soda with vanilla ice cream it's the best!

Happy Birthday to my sweet six year old! I love watching you grow! You are so silly and fun and I love, love, love that I am your mom!

I just can't wait for these fruit trees to grow me some fruit!

Gary's tomato, mozerella, and basil sandwiches. With a touch of balsamic vinagerette and olive oil these babies will make your taste buds dance.

The basil comes from our very own basil plant. YUM.

My gardener.

We planted 2 pepper plants, kale, 2 tomato plants, yellow zuchinni, green zuchinni, cucumbers, eggplant, honeydew melon, watermelon, cilantro, basil, and a row of corn. Can't wait to watch it all grow!

Meet the ugly baby.

She is loved by few.

Violet has really taken a liking to ugly baby so Granny Fran and Poppa Tod let her take her home. I am glad my little Violet doesn't love only the beautiful things in life because the uglies need love too.

Speaking of babies this handsome guy has the best rolie polie legs ever!
