Ripley lovin' and Ryker's first day of Kindergarten!

I love this dog!! We were out in our backyard playing with Ripley and we discovered that he loves bubbles just as much as Ryker and Violet do. He was going nuts! It was good times for all of us.

Can't you see it in their eyes? Violet and Ripley are smitten with one another! I don't know what they would do without eachother.

My little Soccer player!! I can't tell you how much fun it was to see this little guy play his first game! He is such a character. He was always in super hero mode on the field. There's never a dull moment with Ryker.

Not only did my little man have his first game, he also started his first day of kindergarten! It was a rainy day but that didn't dull his enthusiasm.

He had a great time! He's so funny he was all excited that his teacher sent him home with homework! Let's just hope he keeps that excitement for homework for the rest of his life!

It turns out i'm not made of stone. I am not ready to let this little guy grow up yet. It doesn't seem like that long ago I was cradling him in my arms as a baby and now he is off to school and playing soccer. I wish I could push a pause button and keep him little just a bit longer. But I guess I can't, so i'll have to cherish every moment I have with my sweet babies because they just grow up too darn fast!

Petting tigers, saving quails, and being Paleontologists.

Petting TigersWe got to go to the Davis county fair and do lots of fun stuff but this was just plain awesome. We got to go inside of a baby tigers cage and pet and lay by this baby tiger. Ours fell asleep because she had a bottle but it was still awesome!
Ryker's favorite animal has been a tiger for quite some time now so he was lovin' this tiger lovin'.

Okay, I realize I am a nerd but I have never got to pet a tiger before! I even got a sticker afterwards that said "I touched a tiger". It was awesome!

We visited the hen house and this is cute Violet with a turkey. She was to little to sit with the tigers. They said she would have to sit for a whole eight minutes straight. Yeah right I'd really like to see that.

Saving the Quail

We were at my mom's house the other day when her cat brought up this cute little quail in her mouth! Once Ryker saw that it wasn't just another decapitated mouse that kitty brought home he scooped up this little baby quail who was still very much alive.

We made it a little nest and I googled wildlife rehabilitation centers in Utah.

Lucky for us there was one on 12th street in Ogden.

My mom and stepdad turned there date night out into a rescue mission for this little baby Quail and dropped him off at the rehabilitation center in Ogden. Don't worry I made Ryker wash his hands multiple times after touching that adorable quail that tends to carry multiple diseases.

Being Paleontologists

We got to go to the Dinosaur park in Ogden. We have never been and it was pretty cool. This is Ryker with his best friend Bridger.

Here is Miss Violet being a paleontologist and finding dinosaur bones in the sand.

I loved the parts where they had real dinosaur bones. It was awesome!

Thanks to some good buddies that invited us we got to see lots of cool stuff at the dino park!

Cabin Fun!

Our family has recently made it a fun tradition to visit this beautiful place thanks to my Dad's friend who lends us his cabin, 4 wheelers, motorcycle, and this year his jeep to cruise around in. All I gotta say is that I need to find me a friend like that.

I loved looking up and seeing all of the tall trees!

We are getting ready to say goodbye to the summer days and this was a great way to do it. Ryker will be starting kindergarten and he has already started soccer. I must say I am very excited for fall I don't know why maybe because I will be reuniting with a certain someone that I love and miss!

What to do with all of these sunny days.

These are just a few cute pictures I have collected over the last few weeks. As you can see in my shadow my belly has grown. Gary and I found out we are having a baby BOY. We are certainly excited to meet the third and final addition to our family!Ryker, Me, and Violet.

We took a trip to Lagoon with my stepmom and sistah's. Here is violet tired as can be all tuckered out after lagoona beach!
