Violet's first dance recital.

Little miss Violet had her very first dance recital. She looked so pretty in her sparkly purple dress. And we even adorned her hair with purple bows and gold sparkles. They danced to a Hannah Montanna song. Violet played an awesome air guitar and her toe touches were so adorable. This photo was taken right before her rehearsal. Gotta love her little sassy pose!
Ryker was so supportive of his sister's dancing it was so cute.
Here he is doing the dip with her.
This picture makes me happy even though it is a bit blurry.
I always say she has a smile that could light up a whole room. This is that smile!
The dancing girls. They were all so cute!

"World's Greatest Dad"

Wish I could find a mug that reads "World's Greatest Dad" like they used to have in the old days, because this guy deserves one to remind him how great he is. He isn't in town this Father's day to celebrate with us. "He's workin hard to make us money," this is the phrase I tell my kids when he is away. He does travel alot for his jobs. When I look back on the 6 years we have been married, there are many memories of Gary and how much he sacrificed so that our little family could have what we needed.  He is a wonderful provider, and he makes the moments he has with us count. I love you Gary, thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to our family. We can't wait to make snow cones with you when you come home! In our eyes you are the "World's Greatest Dad!"

Oh yeah, and thanks for making me laugh....alot.

Family day at the Utah Air National Guard.

Every year at the Air National Guard they host a family day. It's a nice way for us to hang out with Gary on his guard weekend, they also have lots of  things to see and do. We went into this giant airplane, rode on a firetruck, sat in some army guy trucks, bounced on the bouncy house, sweat profusely, and devoured tiger's blood and blue raspberry snow cones...mmmm.

Gary's spectacular mustache was the talk of the day amongst his colleagues :)
 Inside of the airplane:

Ryker climbed all the way to the top of this giant rock climbing wall! Woo-hoo!

My 7 year old.

Ryker, here is how we celebrated your seventh year with us. We went to the castle park, and as per tradition, made you your very own specialized cupcakes. This year you wanted chocolate, pirate cupcakes, with blue frosting. We celebrated with lots of family and people that love you dearly. You and your cousins had great fun playing in the hollow by the park. I loved watching you laugh, play, and smile with all of our family. We love you so much little boy. I am so glad that heavenly father sent you to me. You are my anchor, my heart, and my joy. Happy Birthday sweet child of mine!

P.S. You scared the dickens out of us when you first jumped on your birthday surprise! Only one crash and now you handle your vespa like a pro. Now all you need is a messenger bag :)
